Country artist Steve Azar, who records for Ride Records, will be one of the many celebrities participating in the "11th Annual Murray Bros. Caddyshack Charity Golf Tournament," returning to the World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine, Florida March 24-25, 2011. The two-day event has more than 300 golfers and has established itself as one of the premier charity events in the Southeast.
Event highlights include a pre-tournament party where players have a chance to bid for a celebrity teammate, and a post-tournament awards party. In previous years surprise performers have included Azar, Jimmy Fallon, Darius Rucker, Branford Marsalis, and many others.
Proceeds from the tournament this year will benefit the Florida School for the Deaf & Blind Summer Academies, located in St. Augustine, Florida.
"It's always a blast to get together with all the Murray Brothers at their event and to be part of raising money for such a great charity," said Azar. "I also look forward to the chance of dethroning last year's Sterling Sharpe's team and coming home with the win."
Azar recently released his new single "Hard Road," the third single from his album "Slide on Over Here."
