Randy Owen, lead singer for the Country group Alabama, will lend his voice to help fire fighters and police officers. Owen has joined forces with BLEVE Entertainment to release a new album. The project will be entitled "Friends" and will kick off BLEVE's "Help the Good Guys" campaign. Profits from the sale of the album will benefit the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) and International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Foundation Funds.
"When I first heard about this project, I knew it was something I wanted to do," says Owen. "Fire fighters and police officers are devoted to their jobs and their communities. When one of them is injured while helping others, they shouldn't have to worry about losing their home or not being able to provide for their families. When I heard that the Funds were broke, I wanted to be a part of the solution."
