Big Machine star Taylor Swift will lend her voice to the upcoming 3D film Dr. Suess' The Lorax. Taylor will do the voice for Audrey and Zac Effron will be the lead character Ted, her love interest in the film.
Ted is an idealistic young boy who is smitten with Taylor's character and tries to find a way to win her affection. In his search he discovers the story of Lorax, a grumpy yet lovable person fighting to save the world.
Danny DeVito will voice the Lorax, Ed Helms lends his voice to character Once-ler and Betty White will play Ted's grandmother Netty. Audrey Geisel, Seuss' widow, serves as executive producer. The 3D film is a project of Universal and Illumination Entertainment.
The Lorax is set for a March 2nd, 2012 release and will be Taylor's second film. She previously starred in 2010's Valentine's Day.
