On July 25th, Jason Michael Carroll will be making a return to Cracker Barrel, however this time he won't be waiting on any tables. His upcoming CD Numbers is the latest addition to Cracker Barrel's exclusive music program. It's somewhat of a homecoming for Carroll, who got his start singing in public while he was a server at the Cracker Barrel store in Hendersonville, TN. "We had no idea when he became one of our new-hire Rising Stars that his music career was about to make him a star in the music industry, too," said Chris Ciavarra, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Cracker Barrel.
The first single off Numbers is the title track. "Numbers is a song that got my attention the first time I heard it," said Carroll. "It was written by Patrick Davis and Rodney Clausen and it's about the way certain numbers, like dates and times, can represent some of life's most significant moments. Moments like your first date, meeting the love of your life, and the day your child is born. Those dates and times have real meaning in our lives. I think everyone can identify with that concept". The single, Numbers, is one of twelve tracks on the CD, and is available now at iTunes.
Jason Michael Carroll's Numbers, is the latest to join Cracker Barrel's ever growing exclusive music program. Other artists who have released CD's through this program include Kenny Rogers, Rodney Atkins, Dolly Parton, and Josh Turner, just to name a few.
