Curb Nashville artist Tim McGraw will soon be taking part in a "Simply Shakespeare Reading" of the comedy "The Merry Wives of Windsor." He will be joined by his wife, Warner Music Nashville artist Faith Hill, for the reading at the Shakespeare Center at UCLA on May 9th.
The events mark the theater's 25th anniversary and is it being marketed as a "rhinestone-studded cast in a down-home evening." Christina Applegate, William Shatner, Martin Short, Tracey Ullman are also taking part. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are and the co-chairs of the event.
Tickets are $95 and $175, with proceeds going to benefit youth employment programs for inner-city kids and arts education in the local schools. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster or UCLA's Central Box Office at (310) 825-2101. Gala tickets at $500 and sponsorship opportunities are available.
