The critically acclaimed vocalist and stage performer, Mandy Barnett will release her new album, "Sweet Dreams," on May 24th. The album will be released by Opry Music and is in conjunction with her leading role return to Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium stage in the musical production "Always...Patsy Cline."
On "Sweet Dreams," Barnett honors the great Patsy Cline with updates of classics like "Crazy," "I Fall To Pieces," and "Faded Love." The project was produced by Steve Gibson and features many of Nashville's most talented studio musicians. This year also marks the fiftieth anniversary of Patsy Cline's hit "Crazy" which was written by Willie Nelson.
Mandy returns to her role as Patsy Cline in the bio-musical "Always...Pasty Cline," which will run Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays June 17-July 24 at the Ryman Auditorium. Joining Barnett on stage to reprise her role of Louise Seger, Cline's most devoted fan, will be Tere Myers. "Always...Patsy Cline" creator and original director, Ted Swindley, will return to direct. The show features no less than 20 of Cline's songs like "I Fall to Pieces," "Crazy," "Blue Moon of Kentucky," and "Sweet Dreams."
