Big & Rich
May 16, 2011
Five years after one of the most successful tours in Country music, Big & Rich and Gretchen Wilson will hit the road on the "Xtreme Muzik The Tour," visiting over 30 cities starting June 18. The tour will also include special guests Cowboy Troy and Two Foot Fred.
The tour will share one eight-piece band on a custom stage with, of course, a fully operational bar as the centerpiece. The show will also offer something rarely seen in modern tours: the co-headliners will rarely leave the stage. The music will not stop, as Big & Rich and Gretchen perform all the hits and join in on each other's songs.
On a related note, it's rumored that Wilson does the background vocals on Big & Rich's new tune "Fake I.D." that will appear on the soundtrack of the upcoming remake of the classic '80s movie "Footloose." The song is a result of Big & Rich coming back together, writing songs together after several years of working on individual projects.
