Kix Brooks has partnered with five Texas women known as the Boot Girls, to help raise awareness to the national Boot Campaign for U.S. Servicemen and women. The Campaign's goal is to see one million Americans wearing a pair of combat "Give Back" boots, which can be purchased at the organization's official website.
Brooks has traded in his traditional cowboy boots for a pair of combat boots, whose proceeds will go to charities which help military personnel and their families who are dealing with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Fellow country artists including Dolly Parton, Charlie Daniels, and Gretchen Wilson are also lending their support, along with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman, and Texas Governor Rick Perry.
