Compassion International, which is the world's largest Christian child development organization that permanently releases children from poverty, has partnered with some of Country music's biggest festivals, to bring awareness to music goers. The organization will sponsor two major country music festivals this summer - the Country Stampede in Manhattan, KS and the Rapids Jam Music Festival in Roanoke Rapids, NC.
"This partnership with Compassion International offers the fans the first opportunity to have a personal and longstanding relationship with a charitable foundation," said Liz Cunningham, Marketing Manager for Country Stampede and Rapids Jam Music Festival.
The Rapids Jam Music Festival kicks off June 16th, and will consist of three days worth of nonstop music and camping. Performers include Willie Nelson, Darius Rucker, Lady Antebellum, Lee Brice, Sugarland, Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, Colt Ford and many more.
The Country Stampede which will be held June 23rd - 26th will have an equally extensive line-up. Artists on the bill consist of, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Joe Nichols, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and Sawyer Brown.
