Capitol/Nashville label mates Lady Antebellum and Keith Urban will represent Country music on the Neil Young DVD, "MusiCares Tribute to Neil Young." The new all-genre concert DVD includes artists from Country, Rock, Folk, Jazz, Soul and more, all paying tribute to Young by singing his hits.
Urban joins John Fogerty and Booker T. Jones for "Rockin' In the Free World" and Lady A takes on "Only Love Can Break Your Heart." Dave Matthews, Norah Jones, Ben Harper, Wilco, James Taylor, John Mellencamp and many more artists are also featured on the DVD.
In January 2010, Young was named MusiCares' Person of the Year for his philanthropic efforts and every live performance at the event was taped for the DVD. Proceeds from the sales of the tribute taping will go to the MusiCares charity, which donates financial and medical assistance to musicians in need.
The DVD is now available to purchase on DVD and Blu-Ray.
