Dierks Bentley
Jun 20, 2011
Capitol Records/Nashville artist Dierks Bentley is one of the biggest ice hockey fans in Country music, which is why he is thrilled to have partnered with the National Hockey League. His new single "Am I The Only One," will be played during the NHL online programming of "NHL Live" and "On The Fly."
Bentley was unaware that his new track had been licensed to the organization, until he heard it being played during a game. "I was watching the playoffs and my song came on," Bentley told Reuters. "My phone blew up with texts from friends that knew I'd get a kick out of it. I'm just thrilled that my song is getting played."
Bentley, who happens to play in a recreational ice hockey league in Nashville, has also released a second music video for "Am I The Only One." The new version highlights the 2010-11 NHL season, shares footage from his recent concert tour, and home videos of him playing hockey. This is the first single off of Bentley's yet-to-be-titled, sixth studio album.
