Average Joe's Entertainment artist Corey Smith has recently broken into the Country scene with his new album "The Broken Record." After selling over 100,000 tickets in 2010, Smith is ready to perform over 100 shows this year.
"With this new album release and another exciting year of touring, I'm reminded how far I've come and how far I've yet to go," said Smith. I think of my family and friends, our community and the thousands of people across the country who've been in my corner over the years, cheering for me, believing in me and inspiring me; and I realize that music is more important than ever and that I am no longer content to use it as a means to only survive."
In promotion with "The Broken Record," Smith will appear on national television with a performance on "Fox & Friends," on July 10th. He will also showcase his new material at the Mercury Lounge in New York City on July 11th.
The 17-track album features new material such as "I Love Everyone," "Heart Attack," and "New Day," along with previously released, re-recorded songs including, "If I Could Do It Again," "Maybe Next Year," and "Carolina."
"'The Broken Record' epitomizes where I am, both personally and professionally. It is my salute to continuity amidst the trumpets of change, reconciling the freedom and recklessness of my youth with the security and responsibility of the present," Smith said..
