Miranda Lambert
Jul 18, 2011
Columbia Records artist Miranda Lambert has announced, via "Good Morning America" on ABC-Television, that her new album will be out on November 1st, 2011. The album, her fourth, is titled appropriately, "Four The Record," and is the follow-up to her Platinum certified CMA and ACM "Album Of The Year," Revolution." Hit singles off of "Revolution" included-- White Liar," "The House That Built Me," and "Heart Like Mine," which all went to No. 1 and the Top 10 "Only Prettier."
"'Four The Record' has so many meanings," said Lambert. "I love the play on words and my records always have a little crime in them and this is the fourth record of my career. This album pushes the limits for me in many ways and I collaborate with friends and heroes. It builds on my previous albums with a whole new flair. 'For The Records' sake, don't forget 11/1/11."
If that wasn't enough, Miranda is now unveiling her group, Pistol Annies, a trio that features Miranda and singer songwriters Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley. The album "Hell On Heels," will be released on August 23rd at all digital retailers and the CD will be available at www.pistolannies.com. The pre-order is available now.
"How lucky is it that I have two amazing singer songwriter friends and together we make an unstoppable musical force," said Lambert. "We say things in our music that women all across the country are thinking. This is a great creative outlet for me as a solo artist and it's cool as hell! 'Hell On Hells' will knock your socks off."
