Egyptian Records, which is Bob Dylan's imprint, in conjunction with the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville's CMF Records, along with Columbia Records, is set to release "The Lost Notebooks of Hank Williams," on Tuesday, October 4th. The project is also currently available for pre-order at www.amazon.com.
"The Lost Notebooks of Hank Williams," is only the 2nd title to be released on the Egyptian imprint-- the first was 1997's "The Songs of Jimmie Rodgers - A Tribute Album."
The new project on Hank is made up of previously unrecorded Hank Williams lyrics newly set to music and performed for the first time as completed songs by a roster of artists. They include Jack White, Holly Williams, Bob Dylan, Jakob Dylan, Norah Jones and many others.
