Steel Magnolia
Aug 15, 2011
Big Machine Records duo Steel Magnolia celebrated their two-year success as a group on August 8th. The date marked the exact moment Joshua Scott and Meghan Linsey won CMT's "Can You Duet," and signed a deal with Big Machine.
On the duo's official website, they are offering their fans an exclusive video which shares moments in their journey, along with many "thank you's."
Linsey said, "It's amazing to us how much we've grown as a couple and as musicians throughout the past two years. We are so grateful for the opportunities CMT, Scott Borchetta (CEO/Pres of Big Machine) and our fans have given us."
Scott added "What better way to celebrate than give fans an intimate look at what life has been like on the road! We hope they'll see how much we cherish this gift and enjoy entertaining,"
Steel Magnolia is currently on the road headlining their own shows, but in October the duo will serve as openers for Republic Nashville artist Reba McEntire's tour. In the meantime, Steel Magnolia is set to release "Bulletproof" as their next single, which will impact radio on August 22nd.
