Country music broadcaster Ralph Emery is set to welcome fellow Country Music Hall of Famer Jean Shepard plus Jan Howard, Jeannie Seely, T.G. Sheppard, and Mandy Barnett aboard the Opry Country Classics Cruise and Royal Caribbean International's Voyager of the Seas. The cruise is sailing January 28th through February 4th, 2012.
"We are delighted that the Grand Ole Opry is sailing with Royal Caribbean again," said Vicki Freed, SVP of Sales, Trade Support and Services, Royal Caribbean International. "Every guest will enjoy Voyager of the Seas innovative onboard amenities and world-renowned Gold Anchor Service from our friendly and engaging staff and crew. Country stars and fans alike will have a great time aboard Voyager of the Seas, especially during our first season back in the exciting city of New Orleans."
Fans will experience private shows by the artists performing their own hits in addition to Country favorites throughout the week. Additional music on board will include classic Country karaoke with celebrity guests and a cocktail party with fellow Opry Country Classics Cruise guests. Departing from New Orleans, guests will visit three ports, including Falmouth, Jamaica; George Town, Grand Cayman; and Cozumel, Mexico.
The Voyager of the Seas ranks among the world's 10 largest cruise ships. The ship offers onboard amenities, such as an ice-skating rink for ice show performances, nine-hole mini-golf course, and the Royal Promenade, a boulevard that runs nearly the length of the ship, with boutiques, restaurant and lounges.
Prices for the Opry Country Classics Cruise start at $1,039 per guest. For more information, visit oprycruise.com.
