Zac Brown Band
Sep 19, 2011
Atlantic/Southern Ground/Bigger Picture group the Zac Brown Band is excited to give fans a unique experience during the Zac Brown Band Fall 2011 Tour. They will host their second annual Southern Ground Music & Food Festival in Charleston, SC this October, and continue with their traditional Eat & Greet at most shows.
Southern Ground Executive Chef Rusty Hamlin, will be serving the finest southern food from "Cookie," which is the band's custom mobile kitchen. At each venue Hamlin purchases local ingredients, and one of his specials includes a "hillbilly" vinaigrette.
Hamlin told the New York Times, "People don't know what they're coming to - they probably think they're going to get hamburgers and hot dogs. And it's like, bam, I've got you!"
The food isn't the only talk around the Zac Brown Bands Fall 2011 Tour. Southern Ground artist Sonia Leigh will open for the band, who has received a lot of hype with her current single "My Name Is Money." She will release her debut album, "1978 December" on September 27th. Southern Ground artist Nic Cowan will also open on select dates as well. The tour is sponsored by Landshark Lager and Jack Daniel's.
