Republic Nashville artist Martina McBride will release her 11th studio album, titled ELEVEN, with 11 new songs, on October 11th. The project will share some of McBride's most personal songs, as she wrote six of the songs featured.
McBride said, "I feel like I've been given the support and power to go into the studio and write and create an album that pushes the boundaries of what people expect of me, while still being true to myself. I can't wait for October 11th so that I can finally share this new music with my fans!"
President/CEO of Big Machine Label Group, which includes Republic Nashville, Scott Borchetta said, "Martina has made a brilliant album and we are proud and honored to represent this release on Republic Nashville."
McBride will also be promoting the album in unique way as she launches "ELEVEN Across America Powered by Amtrak," which is a four-day train ride. The ride will make 11 stops, starting in Los Angeles and ending in New York City in October. Other cities include, Flagstaff, Ariz.; Albuquerque, N.M.; Newton, Kan.; Kansas City, Mo.; Chicago; Cleveland; Pittsburgh; Washington, D.C.; and Philadelphia.
McBride said, "I wanted to do something that has never been done before, and I thought what better way to do that than with a cross-country train ride with Amtrak where we make several stops along the way? Eleven stops, to be exact. I'm so excited for this journey across America."
