Warner Music Nashville duo Big & Rich along with Country artist Cowboy Troy, are the latest Country artists lending a hand to the "Bands for Freedom Foundation, Inc." The organization raises funds for the "Armed Forces Relief Trust and Stars for Stripes Foundations."
Artist such as Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Sara Evans, Charlie Daniels, and Darryl Worley, have already joined the cause. Each artist sports wristband around their arm, with different sayings such as "Freedom," "Liberty," and "Support Our Troops." A portion of each purchase goes directly to our troops and their families through the "Armed Forces Relief Trust and Stars for Stripes Foundation." After covering manufacturing and administrative costs "Band for Freedom" donates 100% of it's proceeds.
Bands for Freedom, Inc. Marketing director Steve Cloward said, "We are truly honored to receive the support of these artists in helping 'Bands for Freedom' raise money for our troops, as well as help in aiding us raise the awareness of the American public of the service they continue to provide. We want people to wear our new wristbands as a reminder of the service our military personnel give each day, and also as an expression of ones support of our military personnel."
