The inaugural Crested Butte Songwriters Festival will feature performances by a collection of performing songwriters. Slated for January 13 and 14th, the festival will feature two nights of performances staged at Crested Butte, CO venues.
A benefit concert will be held on Saturday night, January 14th, to raise funds for Tough Enough to Wear Pink and the TJ Martell Foundation. To date, the Tough Enough campaign has raised $5 million for breast cancer charities and the TJ Martell Foundation has helped provide more than $250 million for leukemia, cancer and AIDS research.
Among the songwriters taking part in the festival are Robert Earl Keen, Dean Dillon, Mac Davis, Marti Frederiksen, Jake Owen, Kristen Kelly, Nicolle Galyon, Emily Shackelton, Kristy Lee Cook, Rodney Clawson, Tyler Hansen, Steve Synder and David Paulik. GAC's Storme Warren will host all shows.
