Easton Corbin
Jun 25, 2012
Easton Corbin has been a very busy man as of late, preparing for his second studio release on Mercury Records titled, "All Over The Road." The album set for release on September 18th is an 11-song set including the first single "Lovin' You Is Fun," and is produced by Carson Chamberlain.
"'All Over the Road' is a fun title. But it's also actually what we're doing out there. We're all over the road trying to get music out to everybody, so I just thought it made sense," said Easton.
This album is the follow-up to Corbins' self-titled debut from 2010, that landed him two back-to-back #1's with "A Little More Country Than That" and "Roll With It." With this feat Easton was the first Country male artist in 17 years to have his first two consecutive singles reach the #1 spot.
Entertainment Weekly gave Easton a rave review for his "old-school songs, full of wit and heart...it sounds effortless," and encourages listeners to "sit back and remember why you fell in love with Country music in the first place."
Billboard took notice of Corbin by awarding him the Top New Country Artist of 2010.
In December 2010 he took home all of the Breakthrough Artist awards at the American Country Awards including Single of the Year, and Music Video of the Year for "A Little More Country Than That."
On top of putting the finishing touches on the new record, Easton is also filling a few opening spots on Brad Paisley's "Virtual Reality Tour."
