Lee Brice

Curb Nashville artist Lee Brice is tying his recent success in music back to his days as a Clemson University football player. Brice was chosen by the Clemson Tigers to write and record a song that the team will use to charge the field as their game day anthem.
Brice was able to create this pump-up song with inspiration from his days on the team years ago. Lee recorded the song "Orange Empire" after writing it alongside Brian Davis and Billy Montana.
"I remember the ride over to the stadium on the team bus," said Brice. "When we'd get to the top of that hill...there really is no describing the intensity and excitement. The fans were ready and insanely loud! When I sat down to write this song, I wanted to portray that feeling. Hopefully it'll get 'em going!"
While his game day contribution and loyalty to the Tigers will allow Brice to be there in spirit every Saturday, he's making a physical appearance for a pre-game performance for their Thanksgiving weekend game on Saturday, November 23rd. Brice will be hosting the concert at Clemson's home field, Littlejohn Coliseum, as they face off against their rivals, the University of South Carolina Gamecocks, on college football's biggest weekend.
Along with cheering on the Tigers, Brice will be a busy man this fall. He will be out on tour performing across the nation through December. Brice also has been celebrating his nomination for the 46th annual CMA Awards in the "New Artist Of The Year" category and is watching his current top 15 single "Hard To Love" continue to climb the charts.
