The CMA Songwriters Series is gearing up for its 2013 season, and has announced some major stops abroad.
Presented by BMI & Gibson Guitars, the series will feature Country artists such as Sugarland's Kristian Bush, Brett James, Chris Young and several other recognizable names. Bob DiPiero will once again return as host of the event. From February 21st - 25th, the CMA Songwriters Series will make stops in Dublin, Belfast and London.
"With the successful debut of the CMA Songwriters Series in the U.K. and Ireland earlier this year (2012), fans across the pond proved that they are passionate about Country Music," said CMA Chief Executive Officer Steve Moore. "We look forward to taking this series overseas once again, and introducing more of our fantastic songwriters to fans abroad."
Beginning in 2005, the event grew from its beginnings in New York, to cities all across the country, including Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and Phoenix. In 2012, the CMA Songwriters Series reached international fans with its first visit to the United Kingdom.
