Bo Bice
Jan 7, 2013

Sugar Money Records artist Bo Bice is most notably recognized as a singer who got his first big break on the Fox television program "American Idol." As a matter of fact, Bice was runner up to Country songstress Carrie Underwood in the fourth season of the talent competition. While Bo has been quietly touring smaller venues around the country, and spending downtime at home in Nashville, Tennessee, some may have never imagined the aspirations that the Country-rocker "really" had!
On Monday, April 8th, Bo Bice will take on the lead role in the revival of the original 1980's Broadway musical, "Pump Boys and Dinettes." The musical- which was a Tony and Drama Desk Award nominee during its original run- is a tribute to rural American life. The story is centered around a roadside restaurant and filling station in North Carolina. "Sweeny Todd" Director John Doyle will direct the cast, which will also double as the show's band.
Since Bice's 2005 run on "American Idol," he has went on to release three studio albums, as well as performed with the likes of Carlos Santana, Ritchie Sambora, Willie Nelson, Chad Kroeger and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
