Feb 10, 2013

In partnership with Country Weekly, Country artist Danielle Peck is launching a contest to celebrate "Impossible Dreams," her debut single off of her upcoming album. The contest, known as the "Impossible Dreams Contest," encourages fans to submit a short story (500 words or less) describing how they have achieved something or overcome a challenge in a way that made a significant difference in their lives or the lives of others.
Submissions can be made at www.countryweekly.com and will be accepted until Thursday, February 28th. Peck will then choose the top 10 submissions and post to her website, www.daniellepeck.com, as well as www.countryweekly.com, on Friday, March 8th. Fans and visitors will then vote on the top 10 posted until Saturday, March 16th.
The grand prize winner will be announced Monday, March 18th and will receive $500 and have their verified story published in Country Weekly magazine. Second place will win two tickets to any Danielle Peck show in 2013, as well as autograph merchandise. The other eight finalists will also receive autographed memorabilia.
"Impossible Dreams" is the song that inspired the contest. "It's about believing in yourself, fighting for who you are and never giving up on your dreams," she says. "Even though it's one I didn't write, I've lived it. It says everything I'd hoped to express on this new project," said Peck.
The song is the first single from her upcoming album, "How Freedom Feels," expected out later in 2013.
