19 Music/Arista Nashville artist Carrie Underwood is on the cover of "People" magazine's April 15th issue, which is now on stands.
In the article, the former American Idol winner- turned professional Country singer- turned Grand Ole Opry member- turned Powerhouse Superstar, dishes on her personal life.
Talking about life with her husband, NHL player Mike Fisher, Carrie says that they often throw parties for their friends. "At home we'll have the most amazing parties where everyone shows up and just acts stupid," she says.
While she does love a good party with close friends, Underwood reveals that she does not like karaoke. "I have been called the human jukebox, yes," she says of her reputation for knowing the lyrics to thousands of songs. "But karaoke is not meant for people who can sing!"
She also reveals that she does not care for tabloids and public scrutiny, particularly how they spoiled her honeymoon surprise when she and Fisher wed in July 2010.
"Some magazine found out and the surprise was blown," she says. "You just learn to not go there. Don't look it up, don't Google yourself. Make sure you don't put yourself in any kind of situation that somebody could misconstrue."
