Robin Meade
Jun 23, 2013
Many news hounds think of Robin Meade as the source for their morning information fix in her role as host of Headline News' "Morning Express With Robin Meade."
Well, this just in: Meade has released her second Country album, titled "Count On Me," which features 12 songs, seven penned by Meade. The album's producer, Victoria Shaw, is familiar to Country fans who remember her as the writer of Garth Brooks' "She's Every Woman" and John Michael Montgomery's "I Love The Way You Love Me," among other radio hits. Additionally, Shaw produced the debut album for Lady Antebellum.
Country radio will first hear "Get Up," written and recorded with another familiar name and voice to the format, Lee Brice. There's variety too, as Meade covers Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors."
"Count On Me" follows Meade's 2011 debut album, "Brand New Day." The new release is available on iTunes and in Target stores.
