Iconic Country group ALABAMA has teamed up with several of their music friends to create a new album called "ALABAMA & Friends" that will feature some of country music's hottest stars delivering their own versions of ALABAMA's biggest hits. Including artists such as Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Eli Young Band, Florida Georgia Line, Jamey Johnson, Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts and Trisha Yearwood, the 11-song collection will also feature 2 new tracks from the band- their first in over 10 years.
"Our longevity is a tribute to the hard work we did in selecting songs, because it's the songs that people remember," said ALABAMA bassist, Teddy Gentry. "It's very much an honor that they'd take part in an ALABAMA tribute," added ALABAMA guitarist Jeff Cook. "We had a lot of fun working with them, and I think the finished product testifies to both the fun and the quality that went into it."
The album will be released through Show Dog-Universal Music and be available for purchase on Tuesday, August 27th.
Earlier this year, ALABAMA launched their "Back to The Bowery Tour." The tour has consistently sold out many of its previously announced dates, resulting in the addition of several new shows to the schedule, including an upcoming performance at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium .
