Big Blue Bubble Inc. has teamed up with with Kristian Bush of the Mercury Nashville duo Sugarland, to collaborate on a brand new character for the animated game, "My Singing Monsters."
The character "Shugabush," which was designed and animated in Kristian's likeness. He also contributed vocals and mandolin for the character. The collaboration began when Bush - who was introduced to the game by his 11 year old son - tweeted his affection for the game. Creator Dave Kerr responded, and the two came up with the concept of the new fedora-wearing, mandolin-strumming "monster." Shugabush recently made his debut in the game on Monday, July 29th.
"This whole experience has been a blast," says Bush. "First of all, the music in 'My Singing Monsters' is irresistible -- that's what drew me to the game. And since I love to dream big via social media, I'm so glad that Dave Kerr and his team at 'My Singing Monsters' dreamed back. I've always wanted to let my inner monster out... and I think I'm finally about to impress my son."
"Working with Kristian was an amazing experience! He was enthusiastic and upbeat throughout the process. I can't wait for the public to see his groovy new monster," Said Dave Kerr. "Kristian's sweet mandolin and unmistakable voice add great depth to the music in a way that only a true professional can."
"My Singing Monsters" can be downloaded for free via app stores such as Itunes, Google Play and Amazon.
