Terri Clark
Sep 8, 2013
Over the years, aspiring artists have started their careers with a gig at the storied Tootsie Orchid Lunge on Nashville's Lower Broadway. And many have migrated from Canada seeking success here in the United States.
But only Terri Clark has done both. She went on to become a mainstay on the Country charts from the mid-90's through 2004. Clark eventually became the first female Canadian artist to be invited as a member of The Grand Ole Opry. Currently, she is part of "America's Morning Show" for Cumulus Country WNSH/New York
Now her story is the subject of a spotlight exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. "Terry Clark: Canadian Country Singer" opens Friday, September 13th and will run through December.
In conjunction with the new exhibit, Clark will participate in a special interview and brief performance in the museum's Ford Theater on Saturday, October 12th.
