Deana Carter
Dec 1, 2013

It's been a while since we've heard new music or, for that matter, any news about Deana Carter, who made a giant splash with 1996's "Strawberry Wine," off her debut album, "Did I Shave My Legs For This?"
For the past nine years, Carter has been busy raising her son, who served as inspiration for a new project titled, "Southern Way Of Life." After he posed the question, "When are you going to get back on stage and sing?" Carter got busy.
Produced by Carter, recorded at the famous Hollywood Sound studios and appearing on her newly launched label, Little Nugget Records/Sony Red, "Southern Way Of Life" was set for a Tuesday, December 2nd release.
Autobiographical, the album includes collaborations, including Kacey Musgraves and Kimberly Perry.
Here's a track listing for "Southern Way Of Life"
- You Can't Stay
- Before You Left
- I Know Better
- I'll Save My Love
- I Don't Want To
- That's Just Me
