Brad Paisley
Dec 1, 2013

Country Music superstar Brad Paisley is no stranger to success. He's a three-time Grammy award winning country singer-songwriter with over thirty-two top ten songs on the Billboard Music Charts. Not only that, but he has received numerous awards from the Academy of Country Music, the Country Music Association, Country Music Television, the American Music Awards and Nashville Songwriters International.
It is not often enough that stars like Paisley are recognized for what they do behind the scenes. Brad isn't just a talented artist, but he's a compassionate person who wants to help sick children. Over the past 10 years, he has granted several wishes for children through Kids Wish Network and recorded a PSA to bring awareness to the Kids Wish Networks cause.
Brad's first wish he made come true was for Brandy, a sick child who wanted to visit Nashville for a Country music festival known as CMA Fest. While Brandy was relaxing with her family at their hotel, a knock sounded at the door and in walked Brad Paisley! Brandy couldn't believe her eyes. Brad spent time talking with the teen and her family and even sang lines from Brandy's favorite song. It was truly a dream come true.
Brad's second wish he granted was for a girl named Holly, who suffers from neurofibromatosis (NF-1.) All Holly wanted was to see Brad Paisley in concert. However, Brad wanted to take it one step farther. He made her wish more special by asking her to visit him backstage after the show. She warmed right up to Brad and the pair had a good time laughing, taking pictures and signing autographs.
Most recently, Brad teamed up with Kids Wish Network for their Corvette Dream Giveaway Sweepstakes. Corvettes hold a special place in his heart, as does bringing joy to children, so this partnership was a perfect match. He autographed a new special edition car appropriately name the "Brad Paisley Hero Edition," to raise awareness for the Kids Wish Network Hero Program. The Hero Program recognizes children who have faced and overcome difficult circumstances, often enduring a great deal of pain and suffering. Brad signed and posed with the Corvette ZR1 and the 1967 Corvette Convertible Sting Ray, both which were awarded to one lucky winner.
It's amazing how someone as busy as Brad is, still makes time for those in need. Kids Wish Network calls Paisley their special "Guardian Angel," and I'd have to agree.
