Well, if you're going to cease publication of a 130-year old magazine, why not end that historic run with the first lady of Country music, Miranda Lambert on the cover?
July/August will be the final issue of "Ladies Home Journal" (LHJ), which started in 1883 with its first-ever cover girl, First Lady Ida McKinley, wife of then-President William McKinley.
The magazine's publisher, The Meredith Corporation plans to transition LHJ brand alive as a quarterly, newsstand-only product and as a website.
Lambert is also featured inside the final issue, telling readers in the cover story, "I cuss and I drink and I have tattoos."
