Touring New Countries Is Old Hat For Bellamy Brothers
In the nearly 40 years since The Bellamy Brothers began their recording career, the duo has built a loyal fan base in countries near and far. This year, as they prepare to celebrate a milestone anniversary, they have embarked on one of their most demanding tours to date. With performances in Sri Lanka, India, Qatar, and New Caledonia selling out, the Brothers are proving that Country is a worldwide format. David Bellamy added, "The international tour circuit landed us permanent jet lag since we started our career almost four decades ago and it seems like it keeps getting busier every year. We are thankful for all of the countries around the world who have supported us, and continue to support us, over the years."
To celebrate their 40 years of success, The Bellamy Brothers also plan to release a two-disc set featuring greatest hits and new material in the Spring of 2015. In the meantime, they are working on collaborations with several international musical acts and have just released a three-song EP and music video titled "Boobs/Texas Girls."
