Alan Jackson

Alan Jackson led his audience on a musical journal through his 25 year career Wednesday (10/23) night in Nashville. Jackson is the current artist-in-residence at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and has performed for intimate audiences there in celebration of his 25th anniversary in the business. For over two hours, Jackson played hits from his multi-platinum career catalogue, but he saved the best for his encore performance. Jackson took the stage for an encore dressed in the look that made him famous, complete with sleeveless western shirt, thread-bare jeans, aviator glasses - and his mullet hair.
Jackson tousled the fake hair as he launched into his three-song encore. Those in attendance believe no audience member was more excited to see "1990s Alan Jackson" than his wife, Denise, who is said to have been snapping photos on the mezzanine. In total, Jackson played a two hour twenty minute set consisting of thirty songs. He filled the evening with tales of his storied career and delighted the audience with humor and charm, capping his in-residence concert series for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
