Nov 9, 2014
RCA Nashville artist Chris Young will headline a show in New York City on Friday, November 14th at Best Buy Theater - but he will arrive to the city early for another important engagement. Young will make his debut on the "Late Show with David Letterman" where he will perform his current single "Lonely Eyes." The taped performance is slated to air on the Friday, November 14th episode beginning at 11:35p (ET) on CBS-TV.
Young is becoming a familiar face on television markets across the country as he wraps his campaign with Kidde Fire Safety. Their national television spots shine a spotlight on fire safety, protecting families and preventing burn injuries to fire fighters. Young and Kidde partnered to donate 2,000 worry-free sealed-battery smoke alarms to fire departments in select cities along Young's 2015 A.M. World Tour route. They also contributed $25,000 to sponsor Survivors Offering Assistance in Recovery (SOAR), a Phoenix Society's program to support burn injured firefighters.
"One of my best friends recently became a firefighter, and the risk they take really hits home," explained Young. "I'm glad to be part of a cause that will help support first responders and local communities along my tour."
