Country music icon Jim Ed Brown is celebrating his 51st anniversary as a member of the Grand Ole Opry by releasing new music. His upcoming album, "In Style Again," will hit stores Tuesday, January 20th, 2015. "In Style Again" is Brown's first project with Plowboy Records. The first single is available to radio now and is entitled "When The Sun Says Hello To The Mountain" and features his sister Bonnie Brown.
"In Style Again" boasts guest appearances by Vince Gill, The Whites, and Helen Cornelius and marks Brown's first solo studio album in almost three decades. The title track was produced by Country Music Hall of Fame member Bobby Bare, and the project features top-tier Nashville session players throughout. "I love new music," remarked Brown. "I guess the whole world does. It's always good to hear a new song - or a cherished chestnut." Each song was selected to include a mix of favorites and new tunes written by songwriting legends such as Dean Dillon and Paul Overstreet.
