RCA Nashville artist Jake Owen took it to the streets last week as a driver for the ridesharing service, Uber. The service and Spotify recently teamed up, and Owen helped them celebrate by being a celebrity driver for a day last Friday, November 21st.
Typically, a ride is secured by opening your Uber smartphone app, requesting a ride, and having an Uber driver arrive to transport you safely to your requested destination. Several unsuspecting Nashvillians were surprised to find the car that arrived last week contained their celebrity driver, Owen, who then chauffeured them to their end-point. Who wouldn't want a "Beachin'" ride like that?!
