Volunteer Jam
Jan 4, 2015

The Volunteer Jam will celebrate its 40th Anniversary in 2015 with a slew of special guests. The Charlie Daniels Band's legendary Volunteer Jam will take place on Wednesday, August 12th at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville and has already announced Montgomery Gentry, Travis Tritt, Billy Ray Cyrus, Kentucky Headhunters, the Outlaws, and Lee Roy Parnell as guests. Additional performers will be announced in the coming months in celebration of the milestone anniversary.
"We never had any idea how big it would become, broadcasting around the world and on Voice of America," stated Daniels. "We thought it was a hometown thing. We never realized it would become an international event. I hope to see more Nashville Volunteer Jams in the future. I'm very, very excited to continue the Jam tradition 40 years later. Ain't it good to be alive and be in Tennessee."
Profits from the night will be split between The Journey Home Projects, a non-profit organization co-founded by Daniels to assist Veterans of the United States Armed Forces, and The Predators Foundation, an organization devoted to funneling the excitement of professional sports towards the needs of the greater Nashville area community. Tickets for the event go on sale Friday, January 30th at 10a (CT) via www.Ticketmaster.com, the Bridgestone Arena box office, and all Ticketmaster locations.
