Wade Hayes

Singer-songwriter Wade Hayes has released a new single to celebrate the life he has been given and the battles he has won. "Go Live Your Life" relates to where he is, where he's been, and where he's going in relation to his battle with colon cancer that began in 2011.
In December of 2011, at age 42, Hayes was diagnosed with advanced colorectal cancer and underwent surgery and chemotherapy to remove and treat the cancer. A year later, the cancer returned, but after another round of treatments, Hayes remains cancer free today. "Go Live Your Life" was planned for release in March specifically to coincide with Colon Cancer Awareness Month, and Hayes is donating $1 for every download of the single this month.
"I'm very fortunate getting to this next step," said Hayes of the project. "After getting through the years of ill health and bad luck, I'm kind of laser focused right now. Getting sick has changed me immensely. It's as if I'm looking through different eyeballs now. I appreciate everything so much more. I realize how much I took for granted."
A full album, also entitled "Go Live Your Life" will drop later this year. For more information on the project and Hayes' efforts to give back, visit www.GoLiveYourLife.com.
