Johnny Cash
Apr 12, 2010
The Johnny Cash Project, a global art project, has launched online, where fans can create a unique and personal portrait of the Man in Black. The portraits will all be put together frame by frame to make the video for Cash's song "Ain't No Grave," which is featured on his latest album, "American VI: Ain't No Grave."
The Johnny Cash Project's website, www.thejohnnycashproject.com, provides all the tools you need to create your own piece of art using one of the frames of the video. The site also provides a view of the video as it was filmed originally, so you can visualize the scene before painting it yourself. Once your frame is submitted, your name will be added to a list of credits on the website.
"American VI: Ain't No Grave" was Cash's last recording before his passing in September 2003. The album is available in stores now. For more info, visit www.johnnycash.com.
