Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
Apr 19, 2015

Beginning Friday, April 24th, the Country Music Hall Of Fame And Museum will update its ACM Gallery with artifacts representing today's hottest artists in the format. From awards and stage props to clothing and guitars, visitors will be able to explore the inspiration behind the work of some of today's most popular artists and discover little-known connections those artists have to the longtime heroes of Country music.
"History is being made each and every day in music, and the music changes constantly," explained Museum CEO Kyle Young. "At the Museum, we share the history of this art form with our visitors. The journey starts where Country music began, and it progresses as the music evolves. The ACM Gallery allows us to fulfill our mission of educating audiences by reporting on the state of Country music today."
Featured in the revamped Gallery will be Blake Shelton's 2014 CMA Award for "Male Vocalist of the Year," Hunter Hayes's Guinness World Record plaque for most concerts in different cities within 24 hours, Maddie & Tae's outfits from the music video for "Girl In A Country Song," Jack White's western outfit with fringe worn the first time he performed with Loretta Lynn, Miranda Lambert's metallic pink microphone and Colton Fire Arms shotgun mic stand, and much more.
