Country legend and Grand Ole Opry member John Conlee recently performed his single, "Walkin' Behind The Star," at a ceremony honoring the members of law enforcement who had given their lives in the line of duty in 2014. The ceremony took place on Friday, May 8th in downtown Nashville, where Fraternal Order Of Police/Tennessee President John Crumby announced that Conlee's recording is now Tennessee's FOP official song for law enforcement.
The song's uplifting and supportive message comes at a crucial time for our nation's law enforcement officers. "I wanted to do this song to show support to police officers who are just doing their jobs," said Conlee. "With all the turmoil going on, I think they are relieved that someone is paying attention the other way and giving them a pat on the back." For more information, visit www.JohnConlee.com.
