The Peach Pickers
Jul 5, 2015
The Peach Pickers - known individually as hit songwriters Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson, and Ben Hayslip - will be the feature of a Country Music Hall Of Fame And Museum songwriter round on Saturday, August 1st at 2p (CT). The Georgia natives will perform and discuss songwriting in support of the "Luke Bryan: Dirt Road Diary" exhibition presented by Citi - the title of which hails from a song written by Bryan and the Peach Pickers.
The Peach Pickers' collaborations have yielded a string of hits for Bryan, including "Country Girl (Shake It For Me)," "I Don't Want This Night To End," "Play It Again," "Rain Is A Good Thing," "That's My Kind Of Night," and the current single "Kick The Dust Up." The program is included with museum admission, is free to museum members, and will be streamed live at www.CountryMusicHallOfFame.org/streaming. Following the performance and discussion, Akins, Davidson, and Hayslip will sign copies of a commemorative Hatch Show Print poster, available for purchase in the Museum Store.
