Garth Brooks

The Garth Brooks "World Tour" is no stranger to sold-out dates, and Dallas will be no exception. Brooks originally announced two shows at the American Airlines Center in Dallas for Friday and Saturday, September 18th and 19th. But, when tickets went on sale, Brooks quickly added shows to meet demand, adding five shows and selling 100,000 tickets, shattering his own previous record in that market, set in 1998.
But that isn't the only news coming out of the forthcoming Dallas shows. Brooks told Townsquare Media Country KWFS (102.3 Blake-FM)/Wichita Falls, TX that he is in the process of revamping and improving pieces of the show. "We have taken a lot of looks at what's working, got rid of things that weren't, and we're coming out with a brand-new look," said Brooks during the on-air interview. "We're gonna re-design the whole video world, the wings of the stage are a little different, and the setlist is kind of...it's starting to fall into the sweet spot. We're bringing a whole new look. If anybody came out to Tulsa, went down to Houston, over to New Orleans, whatever, this is gonna be a different look than what they saw." If you've already hit the Garth Brooks "World Tour" with Trisha Yearwood, now you have another reason to catch it again in a city near-ish you.
