Shania Twain
Aug 23, 2015

Mercury Nashville artist Shania Twain has been on her "Rock This Country Tour" for a couple months, and each city brings unique variances in the crowd and show. No city may top the unique experience created in Los Angeles on Thursday, August 20th, however. Twain was nearing the end of her set, singing "That Don't Impress Me Much," when a power glitch abruptly halted the show as power at the Staples Center went haywire. Twain didn't leave the audience in the dark - at least not figuratively. She spent time joking with audience members, one of whom was a rocket scientist. Fitting, since lyrics to the song that was interrupted include, "Okay, so you're a rocket scientist / That don't impress me much." Power was quickly restored, and the show proceeded without further incident. Twain later tweeted, "We had so much fun in LA that we blew the power out!"
