Blackberry Smoke

Country group Blackberry Smoke recently performed a sold-out homecoming show at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, where they donated $15,000 to CURE Childhood Cancer and another $15,000 to Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Through VIP Meet & Greet package sales over the course of their 2015 shows, the band raised the $30,000.
The cause is close to home for Blackberry Smoke's drummer Brit Turner, whose daughter was diagnosed with cancer. "The doctors and nurses helped save my daughter's life when she was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma. We were told there was very little chance for survival," said Turner. "The least we can do is to raise money for research and support for childhood cancer patients and their families." Over the past three years, Blackberry Smoke has raised more than $130,000 for pediatric cancer research. For more information, visit www.BlackberrySmoke.com.
