week in Nashville, the invitation-only Sony Music Nashville Boat Show celebrated its 25th anniversary in style as it set sail aboard the General Jackson Showboat on March 3 for an evening of music hosted by Gwyneth Paltrow. Surprise guests included Tim McGraw & Alabama, and the Sony artists who performed included Sara Evans, Jerrod Niemann, Jake Owen, Brad Paisley, Josh Thompson, Carrie Underwood, and Chris Young, as well as newcomers Brent Anderson, Bradley Gaskin, Casey James, and The Lunabelles. Special presentations were made to Carrie Underwood and Chris Young, in recognition of Carrie's double-platinum certification of her album, "Play On" and Chris' three consecutive #1 singles.
