Marty Stuart (r) celebrated his 30th anniversary as a Grand Ole Opry member, and his 50 years in Nashville, on Saturday night’s (11/26) Opry. Earlier in the week the the Country Music Hall of Famer was inducted into the Musician’s Hall of Fame. Stuart marked the milestone Opry evening with the debut of new song “Country Star.” Stuart made his first made Opry appearance at the age of 13, one week after joining Lester Flatt’s bluegrass band as a mandolin player.
