Rick Thomas made ONE phone call and got United Airlines to donate a 737 and 72 hours after the LA earthquake Wild made two trips with bottled water and with the help of Power 106, got it out to Northridge where it was given out to people living in parks. Listening in the Bay Area as Renee Taylor handing out supplies to sobbing people reminded me of the power of Radio. Cost to the station: ZERO.
